First Deputy agriculture Dzhambulat Hatuov at a working visit to Kaliningrad region held a meeting on issues of land reclamation and small farms, have informed in the government.

Participation in meetings was received by the Minister of agriculture of the Kaliningrad region Sergey Lutarevich, heads of departments of the Ministry of agriculture and regional farmers.

Dzhambulat Hatuov said that the development of land reclamation is one of the priorities of the state program of development of agriculture. For the Kaliningrad region, improvement of strategic importance.

Sergey Lutarevich told that the system of land reclamation in the region is one of the most complex and costly in the country. The region is concentrated 70% of the polder lands of the country. Reclamation plays a crucial role in the further development of regional agriculture and the introduction of new agricultural land in the turnover.

Dzhambulat Hatuov told that the Minister of agriculture of Belarus Alexander Tkachev instructed to undertake an analysis of the program of development of land reclamation until 2020 and to identify priority activities planned in the Kaliningrad region.

This year the total amount of Federal support for programs of the Kaliningrad region on reclamation is 2,14 billion rubles.

Earlier it was reportedthat the Governor of Kaliningrad region Nikolai Tsukanov spoke about the readiness to train the region's specialists in land reclamation. The shortage of such specialists complained farmers.
