The Rosselkhoznadzor banned the import to the territory of the country through the sea port of Novorossiysk container 3 of the party of the Argentine peanut, Indian and Lebanese chickpea beans, the total weight of which is 44,52 tons. The reasons were a higher proportion of instances of pests and violation of the organoleptic properties of the products.

In particular, the inspectors revealed the presence of dead pests of legumes in the Indian chickpea, a similar violation and failure to comply with regulations in terms of humidity in small-seeded beans from Lebanon and the presence of unusual odor in the nuclei blindirovannye peanut from Argentina. It is established that all parties were imported for further use in food.

In the case of the administrative report is made, all parties were returned to the sender.

According to the Department, since the beginning of this year to date officers stopped the import through the territory of the region 472,92 tons of hazardous products.
