A former employee of one of the Siberian banks Oleg Popovich is building a vegetable storehouse for 3 million tons in Omutinskiy district of the Tyumen region. The project is supported by the region's government, said on Monday TASS in the press service of the regional government.

"Oleg Popovich moved from Novosibirsk to Omutinskiy district two years ago. Using the electronic database created by the regional government for investors, he chose a site for construction of vegetable storehouse for 3 tons. This is the first project that the representative small business implements in the agribusiness of Tyumen region. The vegetable store is being built with the support of local authorities", - said there.
 

Specialization of agro is the cultivation of potatoes, beets, carrots, and planted zucchini.

"This autumn will see our first harvest. By this time, we plan to build vegetable storage", - quotes the press-service of the word Popovich.

"This project is one example which shows that the Tyumen area can be attractive for projects in the agricultural sector. Thanks to the electronic database of investment projects any entrepreneur from other regions of Russia can receive the full information about the grounds for their implementation. Today, the priority areas for investment in the district is wood processing, grain and the development of roadside service", - said the head of Omutinskiy district Victor Vollert.

According to the Governor Vladimir Yakushev, "all of this information to investors is open". "This reduces risks of corruption. Not all regions have such experience and example," said Yakushev during the inspection of the construction of the vegetable store.
