Working meeting of the President of the organization Ireneusz Melaka and acting Minister of agriculture of the region Sergey Lutarevich took place on Wednesday, August 17.

Currently, as reported by Ireneusz Mulyak, the company is interested to develop business in the region - in part of the tab industrial garden. In addition, the Polish gardeners offer help in training of local specialists for industry, to assist in the acquisition of quality seedlings and special equipment.

Sergey Lutarevich thanked the Polish side for the proposal and noted that their experience as one of the leaders of horticulture in Europe, will be very valuable. Also for the region of interest of the Polish practice of processing apples and agricultural cooperation.

The head of the regional Ministry of agriculture informed Polish colleagues about the development of industrial horticulture, including in terms of budgetary support.

"Kaliningrad oblast came to the orchards of the scale. To date, their area of almost 500 hectares, and stay with it, we are not going. The Minister of agriculture of Belarus Alexander Tkachev supports the development of gardening in our region and believes that our apples will become a new Russian brand", - said Sergey Lutarevich.

The acting Minister also noted that the task of the industrial horticulture of the region, not only meet the needs of local residents, but also the North-West of Russia. In the area of envisaged orchards, nurseries, construction of storage facilities for fruit and organization of processing of fruits.

In the nearest plans of the Polish investors to create a joint business agreement on cooperation with the Kaliningrad colleagues: the regional Union of producers of fruits and berries and the Association of agricultural producers of the region.
