The project activists, the Real Junk Food Project is designed for families with low income. Buyers can pay for purchases as much as you want to.

The founder of the Real Junk Food Project says that in the future this kind of supermarkets will appear in every major city in the UK.

The group has already launched another project - Fuel for School. In the framework of this initiative, the activists bused to the school surplus food and distributed to children from poor families. Food, which would be a waste, provide 12 thousand children every week.

Earlier in France, a law was adopted that prohibits to dump unsold food, the expiry date of which has not yet expired. Shops with an area exceeding 400 square meters, it is mandatory to pass such food to charities. Sanctions for violation of this law - up to two years in prison or a fine of up to 75 thousand euros.
