More than half sold in Russia butter do not meet sanitary standards and other mandatory requirements, announced Roskoshestvo, examining 64 trademarks. Manufacturers have put the results of the examination into question.

Alexander Shipulin commented as follows:

"You can't argue with statistics. My family and friends, for example, buy butter, cream, sour cream which are produced in personal subsidiary farms and farmers. I advise everyone to follow my example.

In my opinion, to radically change the situation, it is necessary to form new agrarian policies. We have a program "Family livestock farms", and successful examples of when the participants received funding, built a modern farm. I can confirm that they produce milk that meets all health standards, it is really environmentally friendly products.

At the same time, the buyer should keep in mind that the words "farm products" may be hiding, and unscrupulous manufacturers who use a number of additives, including palm oil.

The situation with low-quality products to the mass market will only get worse, because the megafarm and large holdings are interested only in obtaining the maximum possible profit. And the farmers who live and work on the land, who feed their fellow villagers, are responsible for their products. Because buyers know them in person, respectively, they can impact not only the market leverage, but also moral.

Therefore, it is necessary to change agricultural policy in this way so that farmers could bring to the local population, including citizens, healthy, organic products grown on their farms and

processed in cooperative plants. Agricultural cooperation is the key to solving these problems. This practice takes place in many developed countries, there is no need to invent anything. It's a simple truth, and should in every way promote, change attitudes, because agrarian policy aimed at the development of big business, rarely works in the interests of the consumer."
