Moscow exchange starts trading in sugar, they are held in cooperation with the Union of sugar producers (Soyuzrossakhar). The participants will be available to trade sugar for delivery in the period up to 90 days. The organizer of the auction to be conducted on the trading and clearing platform "Harvest" (on the basis of already organized exchange trade in grain) is the national commodity exchange (NTB, enters into group "Moscow exchange").

Participants of the sugar market will be able to trade directly or through brokers. According to the soyuzrossakhar, in the coming years, the turnover of forwards on sugar will be able to achieve 1-1. 5 million tons per year (about 20% of the total volume of Russian market of sugar), which in monetary terms corresponds approximately to 40-60 billion (based on the average of the current value of sugar).

Supply of stock-exchange transactions will occur at accredited warehouses in the southern, Central and Volga Federal districts. To purchase a forward contract can be either on a specific stock and at the best price in all Federal district. To sell the forward contract will be at the warehouse at the place of storage of the underlying asset.

For the first time in the Russian practice will be offered combined bids (simultaneous transactions forward and swap), which will allow you to perform calculations on the day of the transaction.

The Federal Antimonopoly service of Russia also suggested to consider the possibility of exchange trade in grain and sugar, and sunflower oil and meat.
