The development of animal husbandry in the region, said the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Novosibirsk area – Minister of agriculture Vasily Pronkin at a press conference on March 15.

"Last year, the farmers have done a great and qualitative work. During the summer they provided almost 40 centners of feed units per conventional head. This allowed us to perform all the target indicators of production of livestock products designated in the agreement between the Government of the Novosibirsk region and the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation. The region produced approximately 670 thousand tons of milk and 253 thousand tons of meat", — said Vasily Pronkin.

He also noted that the breeding stock of cows increased from beginning of last year, and the current date on 3014 goals, with about 500 cows – milch cows, and the rest beef. Productivity and the population increased in 17 districts of the region.
