The largest increase of supply in relative terms it is noted, first of all, dry skim (Turkey, Argentina, Republic of Belarus) milk, dry milk and 1.5-27% fat (New Zealand, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica), butter (New Zealand, Argentina), cottage cheese (Belarus, Kazakhstan) and cheese products (Republic of Belarus).
As a result, at the end of January 2017 in Russia officially imported since the beginning of the year about 0.6 million tons of milk and dairy products (in recalculation on milk) for a total of 201.5 m USD.
While in monetary (dollar) terms, imports increased by 65.1% due to the increase of the world prices for dairy products in the second half of 2016.
