This was announced by the Deputy Director of the Department of Asia, Africa and Latin America Russian economic development Ministry Nailya Chernikova.

"Our colleagues from the Ministry of agriculture and Rosselkhoznadzor signed 7 certificates for the supply of animal products here in Qatar. We 2014, have agreed, yesterday survived a real battle and signed 7 certificates with the Qatari side,"she said.

According to the Deputy Director of international cooperation Department of the Ministry of agriculture, Maxim Markovic, from the Russian side the document will be signed in Moscow. He found it difficult to name volume of the exports, as its size will depend on the willingness of companies and market conditions.

Maxim Markovich explained that the certificates were signed for the importation of lamb meat, goat meat, raw meat, canned food, sausage, meat poultry, edible egg, egg powder and other products.

"We return to Moscow at the request of the Qatari side should send them the additional documents and the registry of companies that potentially will export these products. After that, the Qatari side will look at these documents and decide whether they have to audit these companies. But I think this year deliveries can begin", he said.

At the same time, according to N.Chernikova, the idea of a joint venture for processing agricultural products between the two countries, which rose last year, yet did not develop.
