In Estonia approved the state program on reduction of the share of antibiotics in veterinary medicine, soobshaet IA REGNUM with reference to the order of the head of Department, member of the ruling Centrist party Tarmo Tamm.

According to a new document, the country will reduce the use of antibiotics in the treatment and prevention of animals by 30% by 2020.

This decision argued that with increasing resistance of microbes to various antibiotics, increasing the risk of negative effects on health of humans and animals.
