Russian popular front (onf) together with the Russian Union of rural youth (RSSM) launches the project "Civil control in rural areas", which will take place the all-Russian monitoring of the effectiveness evaluation of the Federal program on sustainable development of rural areas, reported the press service of the onf.

Pursuant to the instructions of the President, the activists of the popular front, the Russian Union of rural youth will hold a series of monitoring public raids on the objects of social and engineering infrastructure of rural territories, which took part in realization of Federal target program "Sustainable development of rural territories for 2014-2017 and for the period till 2020". Monitoring will be carried out within the framework of the public project "Civil control", – stated in the message.

Activists will conduct surveys of rural residents and will carry out raids on the infrastructure. According to a member of the Central headquarters of the onf Yulia Ogloblinoj, the results of monitoring will be compiled a ranking of regions according to the efficiency of the state program.

"We intend to find out how much is reasonable to spend public funds allocated for village development. Plan to conduct monitoring surveys of rural residents, raids on infrastructure. I think that is long overdue need to revise the approach to agriculture solely from the food source, when the priority is to support big agribusiness", – quotes the press service of the movement Ogloblin.
