The sanctions include a ban on the import of goods, investments in Crimea and Sevastopol, tourism services, export of certain goods and technologies.

The European Union has adopted several decisions on sanctions against Russia in connection with the situation around Ukraine. Sanctions against Crimea and Sevastopol have been prolonged, they expire June 23.

Also in March 2017, the European Union again extended for six months personal sanctions against Russian and Ukrainian individuals and legal entities that Brussels recognized responsible for "undermining the territorial integrity" of Ukraine. The black list included 21 people.
