Earlier, on 19 April, the Agency imposed restrictions on the supply of meat, eggs and other products and items, which can also be transmitted virus – used feeds and feed additives for birds and equipment, and other tools for growing and slaughtering of turkeys, chickens and other birds and butchering their meat. Also, municipalities have restricted the transit of live birds to the territory of the Russian Federation.
From December 2016, the Rosselkhoznadzor introduced temporary restrictions on the supply of these products from all countries and regions where the detected pathogenic avian influenza. In their list during this time included Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Sweden.
