"Farmers have removed sugar beet on the area of 113,5 thousand hectares (85% of total harvesting area). With a yield of 444 kg per hectare, the gross harvest of root crops is about 5 million tons", — stated in the message.

The highest yield in the Khokholsky (650 quintals per hectare), Novousmanskiy (645 kilograms per hectare), Paninskaya (545,8 centners per hectare) districts.

As noted by the regional authorities, nine sugar factories in the province are working at full capacity, the rate of productivity per day is 41.6 thousand tons.

"At the end of 1 November, the plants processed of 2.78 million tonnes of raw materials produced 415,2 thousand tons of sugar. The rest of the beets in prizavodskaya solopenko is 980,2 million tons, sugar yield (digestif) – 17,3% (in 2016 15.1 per cent)", — reported the regional government.
