According to authorities, during this period in Russia was detained 18,299 thousand tons of products from other countries that came under the food embargo. Most of the detained products - almost 17,629 thousand tons - is crop production.

Recall, Russia imposed sanctions on 7 August 2014 in relation to products from the US, EU, Australia, Norway and Canada. From 13 August 2015 the list includes supported anti-Russian sanctions Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, Liechtenstein and, since 1 January last year, the list added Ukraine. In 2015, the sanctions extended to August 5, 2016. They repeatedly extended, the restrictions will be in effect until the end of 2018.

In the list of prohibited to import into Russia products were meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, and fish and fish products, vegetables and fruits. Later in the list of added salt, and from October 27 this year, the ban includes live pigs, except purebred breeding animals. Supplies of fresh, chilled or frozen edible offal was also banned, reports "Interfax".
