A repeated request was sent to Turkey in connection with the compliance with Turkish companies exhibited by the Rosselkhoznadzor criteria.
"In this regard, the Rosselkhoznadzor repeatedly sent to the Directorate of food and control Ministry of food, agriculture and livestock of Turkish Republic an appeal to the need of providing in the shortest possible time, not later than 15 December 2017, a list of exporters of tomatoes conforming to the requirements of the Rosselkhoznadzor", - stated in the message.
From 1 November 2017 Russia allowed the import of Turkish tomatoes suppliers. Permission for the export of vegetables has received only four companies. Approved by the company is 50 thousand tons.
A ban on the export of tomatoes from Turkey was introduced on 1 January 2016, after the Russian su-24 bomber was shot down by Turkish fighter jets.
