Authorities in Orenburg region have increased in 2018, the funding of grants for farmers in two times in comparison with the previous year, said Friday TASS in regional Ministry of agriculture.

"For grants beginning farmers, on development of family livestock farms and agricultural consumer cooperatives in 2018 will be allocated nearly 454 million roubles that almost twice exceeds the previous year's funding," - said the representative of the Ministry.

The Agency added that beginning farmers this year will receive grants in the amount of 1.5 million rubles to 3 million rubles, last year the limit was 1.5 million rubles. Family farms grant size increased to 30 million rubles, previously it was possible to obtain the amount of 21.6 million rubles. Grants to cooperatives increased seven times - from 10 million rubles to 70 million rubles.

With 2012 in the Orenburg region with the help of subsidies has created more than 330 farms, assistance provided to the seven cooperatives for a total amount of over 1.2 billion roubles from regional and Federal budgets. For activities over 40% of the project farmers engaged in the meat direction, the rest - dairy direction, mixed farming, crop production, vegetable growing, fish farming, horse breeding, sheep breeding, pig-breeding and bee-keeping.
