The monopoly on the production of mineral water "Essentuki" or the consolidation of existing producers will help to guarantee the quality of the product. This opinion was expressed by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin, in an interview"Russian newspaper" published Sunday on the newspaper's website.

"There are three basic of the owner of the field, which produces "Essentuki". Must be either a monopoly or these three producers have to combine the assets, generally on the side not to give anyone a gallon of water and distill the water" - quoted Khloponin edition.

In the current situation, the consumer cannot be sure of the quality of purchased mineral water. "People should have guarantees that are buying this water. And today what do we see? There are about 30 companies that bottled mineral water "Essentuki" and we don't understand where they get this water where the well from which they take water," - said Deputy Prime Minister.

In addition, Khloponin noted that the relevant agencies developed a new standard for cognac.
