According to Deputy Minister Andrei Oleynikov, planted 1922 thousand hectares of winter crops has risen 100%, of which 97% are in good and satisfactory condition. Spring crops, according to the plan of spring sowing, is a 955 hectares (101% compared to last year), and the acreage of peas will be 125% by 2017, sunflower – 120%, sugar beet – 97%, maize, potato, vegetable and melon crops is the same as last year.

The volume of certified seeds prepared (excluding maize) spring grains and legumes totaled 38 thousand tons, or 113% to the total demand. Also determined the amount necessary to complete the spring planting: with the purchase of seeds, fertilizers, plant protection means, fuel and lubricants, equipment and spare parts it will amount to 13.7 billion rubles.
