The Agency sent a letter to the Department of veterinary and food supervision of the Ministry of agriculture and food of Belarus, in which he expressed concern about the current situation with safety of milk and dairy products from Belarus.

The Rosselkhoznadzor also noted that at the moment there is a tendency of increase in revenues in Russia of dairy products which contain residues of banned and harmful substances.

"Given the need to ensure product safety the Rosselkhoznadzor is considering the adoption of more effective measures, including the imposition of restrictions on certain types of dairy products subject to administrative territories of the Republic of Belarus, which often goes unsafe products", — stated in the message Department.
