On 22 March the Ministry of agriculture held a teleconference meeting on updating of Park of agricultural machinery.

The Director of the Department of crop production, mechanization, chemicalization and plant protection Chekmarev Petr recommended to pay close attention to efforts to increase the pace of purchases of agricultural machinery of domestic production.

The heads of regional agricultural administrative bodies in the course of feedback presented their progress reports on the updates of agricultural machinery.

On the situation in the Orenburg region, reported the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of agriculture, food and processing industry of Orenburg oblast Mikhail Maslov.

- The government of the Orenburg region pays great attention to updating of Park of agricultural machinery, with the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery were concluded agreements on the supply of equipment on favorable terms.

Thanks to these measures there is a gradual updating of Park of agricultural machinery. So, if on 01.01.2012 agricultural producers of all categories available equipment operated less than three years, 8% tractors, 12.6% of grain and 16.3% forage harvesters, on 01.01.2018 – 11%, and 15.7% and 16.7%, respectively.

In 2018 it is planned to purchase 470 tractors, including 133 brand "Kirovets" 250 30 grain and forage harvesters, grain 89 and 23, seeders, sowing complexes 23, 33 cultivator for continuous tillage and row crop cultivators 17.
