"Signed by order approved a plan of measures (roadmap) for the development of production of mineral fertilizers for the period until 2025," - said in an accompanying note to the document.

The implementation of the roadmap will enable, by 2025, to improve the performance of production of mineral fertilizers, 2016, 7.3 million tonnes, "to increase the share of export in the structure of production of mineral fertilizers by 4% and increase the consumption of mineral fertilizers by agricultural producers".

The road map provides for the stimulation of investment activities of mineral fertiliser producers and the development of the internal market, including the promotion of the use of such fertilizers in crop production. The plan also included the development of national logistics infrastructure in the industry.

In addition, the plan implies state support of export of domestic mineral fertilizers in agreed areas in the form of a waiver of export duties.

Production of mineral fertilizers is a key sub - sector of the chemical industry, which occupies one of leading places in the Russian non-hydrocarbon non-commodity exports.
