TASS with reference to the Main Department of veterinary medicine of the Omsk region informs that in our region from five localities until June 15, a quarantine due to the detection of foci of dangerous diseases horses, leptospirosis, and infectious anemia.

Experts note that these viral diseases are not dangerous to humans, but all animals within the quarantine area shall be at the slaughter. It is known that leptospirosis quarantined village Konezavodstve'yanovskogo district and in the villages Kanakova and Malololelei.

Because of the infectious anemia of horses, the animals will be destroyed in the towns Merry meadow and Tsentral'no-lyubinskiy the lyubinskiy district. What number of horses will be destroyed, not yet reported.
