Peasant farm "Badger" from the Krasnodar region became the first in Russia, which will host the experiment for transfer of agricultural machinery to natural gas, the correspondent of TASS.
During the presentation of the project presented examples of equipment fitted to operate on natural gas buses, trucks, tractors.
"Some may say - think, group technology! But I've got to start somewhere. <...> Built in fact, for three weeks, the project did also need some time. Two other stations are able to 100% satisfy the demand of refueling vehicles", - said the head of the Board of Directors "Gazprom" Viktor Zubkov, adding that the company is ready to work with other farmers.
Earlier, he said that in the Kuban region gas fuel may be in demand by agricultural enterprises and transport companies: each year in the region is collected and reloaded on the possession or export of millions of tons of agricultural products. The transition to such fuels could significantly reduce damage to nature resort region, which annually attracts millions of tourists.
According to the press-service of "Gazprom gas fuel" is the first Russian experiment on a centralized translation agricultural equipment to natural gas, which significantly reduces the emission of hazardous substances in the vehicle. It is assumed that at the first stage of KFKH "Badger" will be used by the mobile gas station: refueling gas directly from the reservoir, it can deliver fuel within a radius of 50 km; in the future it can build its gas station. According to calculations, the transition to gas will save about 186 million rubles. The pilot cars and special vehicles - bi-fuel, that is, if necessary, will be able to easily switch from gas to petrol, thanks to two fuel tanks can operate without refueling twice.
