This year the province plans to complete the implementation of nine major projects in the agricultural industry with a total investment of more than 21 billion rubles. They will create over a thousand new jobs, said the first Deputy Chairman of government of Stavropol Nicholas Velikdan.

– Thus, the creation of three greenhouse complexes will allow to increase the area of industrial enterprises on 63 acres, he predicts. Three poultry farm will increase the volume of poultry meat production of ten thousand tons, eggs – by 280 million units. There will also be a fruit storage with capacity of 6 thousand tons, plus two dairy-a commodity complex: the project, LLC "agroalliance" invest Alexandrovsky district on 1700 cows with annual milk production of 10 thousand tons and the project of "Agrofirma "Selo Voroshilova" the foothill region of 2,400 cows with a production of 25 thousand tons of milk per year.

Compared to last year doubled the amount of funds to support livestock breeding and wool production. Two and a half times – to implement programs on family farms (estimated number of recipients of grants will be 63 farm), 40 percent will increase financing of the program of development of material-technical base of agricultural consumer cooperatives.
