The event has been held annually since 1996 with the support of the Committee of the State Duma on agrarian issues, Federation Council Committee on agrarian and food policy and environmental management, the RF Ministry of agriculture, Rosselkhoznadzor, Rospotrebnadzor, Russian chamber of Commerce, Business Russia, OPORA RUSSIA, the Public chamber of the Russian Federation, government of Moscow, the Russian Grain Union, Union of kombikormiv, the Russian veterinary Association, Rosrybhoz, Union of enterprises zoobusiness, the Meat Board of common Economic Space of the Russian poultry Union, soyuzrossakhar and is one of the most interesting, personable and appreciated among specialists. The exhibition will present technologies and equipment for growing, harvesting, transportation, storage and processing of grain; agricultural chemicals, agricultural machinery; raw materials, technologies and equipment for production of bakery products flour, cereals, animal feed; elevators and granaries; mills, feed and groats; feed for farm and domestic animals, birds, fish, veterinary equipment, products, tools and services; packaging equipment and materials; technologies and equipment for animal husbandry, pig, poultry and aquaculture.

To date, the exhibition was declared 267 companies from 22 countries: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Canada, China, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland and 34 regions of Russia. Occupied exhibition area over 20,000 sq. m.

In 2019, the exposure of feed and veterinary medicine will be presented in two halls – Hall A and C. traditionally is the exhibition with equipment for grain processing, feed production, and laboratory equipment. All the media, associations and industry unions also will be located in hall V.
