The state company "Chukotka wholesale trade" intends to establish production of sweet carbonated water from local berries the original recipe. The raw material will use cranberries, siksa (vodenica) and blueberries, told TASS on Monday, the Deputy Director of the company Oleg Gubiev.

"We have developed recipes sparkling water from local berries and prepared the necessary equipment. As soon as we begin to take the raw material, and it will be closer to the end of the summer, immediately start production. This year we will sell water only in Anadyr, Egvekinot and Beringovsky, and next year we will carry to other areas of Chukotka," - said the Agency interlocutor.

The berry company buys from the local population, especially the active residents of the village of Khatyrka the Anadyr district. Only they pass on sale of the order of 500 - 600 kg per year. Part of the purchase price the company compensates the regional budget. The volume of production is not yet defined, everything will depend on demand.

The company plans to resume production of jam from the berries. And preserves, and sodas will be sold only in Chukotka, as will be produced in small batches.

"Chukotka wholesale trade" - the largest state-owned enterprise, which is engaged in the delivery of food in the settlements of Chukotka. Also, the company launched production of meat and fish products.
