The Federal Antimonopoly service in the Kostroma region did not reveal an unjustified increase in the cost of fuel, informs GTRK "Kostroma". In the region completed verification of the fuel market.

According to the head of the regional Department of the FAS of Mursal Ismailov, "there is a significant increase in oil prices, and taking into account the exchange rate, the oil companies more profitable to sell abroad."

Note that the increase in fuel prices have hit the Kostroma farmers, due to active planting. According to the regional Department of agriculture, the cost of the crop will increase by 16% if the fuel is not expensive.

"While at the moment those prices which have developed on the fuel — compared to last year we have lost 50 million rubles," — said the Director of the Department of agriculture Sergei Ivanov.

"We understand that rising fuel prices has a significant pressure on inflation. We are awaiting confirmation from the Kostromastat, we will be watching this situation. I hope that the Government's decision to reduce excise taxes, and cessation of their growth in the current year — it will allow to stabilize the situation on the fuel market",— said the Director of the Department of economic development Alexander Svistunov
