The region is finalizing the draft law on "the Vologda hectare".

"We are talking about features of granting land plots from the Fund of redistribution of agricultural land on the territory of the Vologda region. Proposed from Fund of redistribution of agricultural land in the whole area is more than 460 thousand hectares to provide land in the size of 1 hectare to those involved in selhoznaloga: legal entities, citizens, farmers free property", — noted the Deputy Governor of the region Eduard Sinac.

The project "Vologda hectare" is aimed at commercializing and effective use of land Fund land redistribution. It is noted that these measures will contribute to economic and social development of such areas and also would reduce the unused area of farmland are idle.

The draft law will be determined by the ability of the earth in that order on the territory of 14 municipal areas.

"We hope that there are interested, willing to engage in this activity, thus they have an opportunity to save on the purchase of the land and invest the released funds in the development of agricultural activity. After the bill is passed in the Legislative Assembly, we will start working on it together with deputies. I hope that in the autumn the bill will be adopted and enforced," said Sinak.
