Interregional agroindustrial forum "Day of Siberian field - 2018" will be held June 20-21 at the demonstration zone "Siberian agro-industrial estate" in the Altai region. The forum will allow to present a modern production of agrarian and industrial complex 260 companies from more than 20 regions of the Russian Federation, told TASS in the press service of the Ministry of agriculture of the region.

"This year participants of the forum will be about 260 enterprises (2017 240 - approx. TASS) from more than 20 regions of Russia. They will present modern equipment, technology for crops and livestock," - said in the Ministry. The forum will be attended by, in particular, the guests from Kazakhstan and Germany, they will come to see the novelties of agricultural machinery of the Russian, Kazakhstani enterprises are long time partners of the Altai, they buy equipment and farm animals.

It is expected that the ground of "Day of Siberian field" will visit for two days at least 25 thousand people. The main themes of the forum - the technical improvement of production and diversification of agricultural business. The Ministry of agriculture of the region note that "Day of Siberian field - field one of the largest exhibitions in Russia. This year there will be presented more than 500 units of agricultural machinery, including 120 from the Altai region.

The forum will test tillage and forage equipment, and next will run the show-ground - there will show work versatile telehandlers. The forum will include business platform where industry experts will discuss the potential for increasing exports of agricultural products, prospects of development of organic farming and the role of digital technologies in the agricultural sector. Also, the exhibition of farm animals for the first time will represent the direction of the goat.

The Ministry of agriculture of the region note the importance of the "Day of Siberian field" for the region: according to regional authorities, one of every six farm machine or selhoztehnik in the country is produced in the Altai. The region has the largest arable land in the country is 6.5 million hectares.
