According to the British Secretary for international trade, Dr Liam Fox, the UK will export dairy products to China in the amount of 240 million pounds within five years.

Dr Fox, who is currently in China, said, "This is my fourth visit to China this year, and I'm glad to see the completion of this transaction, bringing significant benefits to dairy producers throughout the UK at a time when the British exports of food and beverages is at a record high level."

Currently, the UK exports dairy products worth 1.7 billion pounds per year.

Prime Minister Theresa may said earlier about the beginning of the "Golden era" in relations between the UK and China.
