"On August 28 from a number of regions of Russia temporarily suspended the import of live pigs, their genetic material, pork and other food of raw meat, meat of wild pigs containing porcine finished products, rogakopita, leather, intestinal materials, bristles, trophies, all kinds of feeds and supplements for pigs, except those containing synthetic and chemical substances", — is spoken in the message published on the website of the civil service.

It is also noted that prohibited the import of all kinds of live poultry, poultry products, raw material, feathers, fluff, marketable and hatching eggs, tankage, feed (except those containing synthetic and chemical materials), polymer and cardboard boxes and liners.

"The decision was made, considering that on the official website of the world organisation for animal health has published an information that in Russia there were cases of African swine fever and avian influenza, as well as using the framework of regionalization veterinary rules on contagious animal diseases of the Rosselkhoznadzor", — stated in the message.
