Last year in the gardens of the region were collected 415 tonnes of fruit, compared to the 2017 surpassed 2.1 times.
At the moment, complete harvesting of cherries, peaches, plums and apricots. Their yield was 705 tonnes compared to 299 tonnes in the previous season. Harvesting apples and pears will be completed in mid-November.
The Stavropol region is rich solar radiation, however, suffers from frequent droughts. The work done on the implementation of systems of irrigation and reclamation led to such impressive results of local producers.
Farmers are not resting on their laurels: in 2016-2017 was laid 64,3 hectares of new gardens. So next season we can expect even more dynamics of gross yield of fruit.
