Growth investors in agribusiness in Kaluga region has led to a shortage of land for farms
The Governor of Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov said that due to the high interest of investors that invest in the agro-industrial complex of the region, there is a problem in the form of shortage of land for large farmers.

On Friday, the chamber of Commerce in Moscow held a presentation of investment and economic potential of the Kaluga region.

 

According to Artamonov, agriculture in Kaluga region is bound to develop elevated pace, as the region is located near the largest market for agricultural products to Moscow and the Moscow region.

 

"We are working very hard at attracting investments in agribusiness. The number of people willing investors who want to try themselves in business, growing from year to year. Today we have a problem, so we could have enough land to provide for such investors. Especially those who are engaged in the production of milk and quality beef," — said Artamonov.
