Kazakhstan increased the prices of agricultural products
In September 2018, compared with December last year, agricultural production became more expensive by 1.2%, crop production – by 2.2%, while livestock products – cheaper by 0.7%.

In January-September 2018 the price of wheat rose by 4.4%, oats – by 4.3%, rye – by 3.9%, corn – by 3.4%, rice – by 2.9%, barley – by 0.8%, and buckwheat decreased by 9.3%.
Cabbage rose 1.8%, beet – by 0.5%, potatoes fell by 8.3%, onion – by 5.4%, carrot – 5%, tomatoes in open ground by 4.9%, cucumbers open ground by 2.4%. Prices for melons and gourds increased by 6.3%, grapes – by 5,8%, sunflower seeds – by 2.2%, and fruits and berries decreased by 9%.
According to the Ministry, cattle meat rose by 3.4%, horses – by 2.7%, sheep and pigs – by 1.7%, and poultry prices dropped by 9.5%. The prices of eggs decreased by 12.3%, and for raw milk rose 1.2%, copper – 0.5%.
