"The economy of the territory has completed the laying of the crop in 2019. Sowing of winter grain crops were produced in optimum time. All our farmers have sown more than 130 thousand hectares of barley and more than 1,547 million hectares of wheat," — said Kondratiev.

The Governor said that this year the region 8 thousand hectares, increased acreage of winter rapeseed. "Today's culture planted 28 hectares. It is demanded not only in Russia but also in the world market, so considered by our farmers as promising. The increase in rapeseed production will enhance export potential of the region", — said the head region.

He added that, in General, on the edge of the area of winter cereal crops is comparable to 2017. The Governor stressed that the region does not lack in seeds and mineral fertilizers.

"Of course, we are talking about forecasts for 2019 yet. However, I note that before the agricultural producers of the region, of course, is to keep the gross yield of grain crops at the level of 2018, all you need to do this, we have," said Kondratev.
