Belarus hopes that Russia in November will decide on the lifting of restrictions on Belarusian milk, said Friday the Minister of agriculture and food of Belarus Leonid Zayats. The head of the Belarusian Ministry of agriculture said that at present is partially or fully restricted in the supply of products to the Russian market 43 dairy enterprise.

"Rosselkhoznadzor could not confirm Belarusian colleagues announced the lifting of restrictions on the supply of dairy products from Belarus to Russia. Such statements are very premature," said Melano.

She pointed out that at the moment Russia and Belarus are working on the question of the supply of dairy products according to the signed by the parties to the road map. Rosselkhoznadzor, according to her, notes some progress in this vein.

"However, in the reconciliation of the tonnage of products of the Belarusian companies and exported to Russia production volumes of the relevant businesses revealed a number of inconsistencies, which confirms the objectivity of the Rosselkhoznadzor," — said the representative office.

Not less important, she said, is that the service hasn't registered positive developments in terms of product safety. So, for the period from 1 January to 24 October 2018 398 identified inconsistencies in products and more than 50% of discrepancies identifying residues of drugs.
