The event was attended by the Deputy chief of Department of supervision over the turnover of medicinal products for veterinary use of the Rosselkhoznadzor Catherine Agrinskaya, Deputy head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Novosibirsk region Alexey Maheriv and senior researcher of the Department of gene diagnostic of infectious animal diseases of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate fgbi "all-Russian state Center for quality and standardization medicines for animals and feed" (fgbi "VGNKI") Julia Pobolelova.

The conference began with lectures by leading Russian and foreign scientists about viruses Ebola and Marburg, and also about the parvoviruses and the flavivirus that cause dangerous diseases of animals and humans. Some of the lectures was dedicated to the viruses of African swine fever (ASF), tick-borne encephalitis, Newcastle disease.

In the course of communication with the conference participants Julia Pobolelova told about the research work of the Department of gene diagnostic of infectious animal diseases of the fgbi "VGNKI" and discussed the possibilities of cooperation.

Of particular interest was the round table "From creation to implementation: how to get biotechnology into the practice of farmers". During the round table representatives of companies in the agricultural sector discussed the current domestic market the issue with the manufacturing of vitamins, supplements and amino acids, as well as the need for introduction of technologies of recycling of food waste. Also discussed was the concept of "one health" human and animal, adopted by the world health organization. In accordance with this concept, the health of animals affects the health of a person, because he eats animal products.
