According to information-analytical system "Argus-Phyto", every year for many years to Russia from the Netherlands comes 400 million units of flower bulbs and 16 thousand tons of onion sets.

The analysis of the data specified in the orders of the Russian recipients and submitted to the Rosselkhoznadzor from September 2018 23 January 2019, it is established that in 2019 from Holland to Russia is planned to have more than 7 billion pieces of flower bulbs and more than 31 thousand tons of onion sets.

These volumes are questioning the possibility of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to produce and export in Russia this number of bulbous crops.

The Rosselkhoznadzor requests that participants of foreign economic activity when making applications for the import of bulbous plants from Holland to specify in the bids the actual volumes that are planned to be imported to Russia in 2019. The previously filed application must also be updated.

This measure is in accordance with the Rules approved by the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of February 8, 2018 No. 128, and due to the need for the implementation of quarantine phytosanitary control of conformity of imported products with a Single phytosanitary requirements of the EEU and ensure quarantine phytosanitary safety of the territory of Russia.
