Annual exhibition, Medlab Asia Pacific is held during the last five years and is the largest in the Asia-Pacific region a platform to present new developments in the field of biotechnology, medical devices and laboratory equipment. The Congress and exhibition involving the best scientists and representatives of industry. This year the event was visited by more than 4 thousand participants from over 60 countries; the exhibition featured more than 250 exhibitors.

The delegation of the fgbi "VGNKI" attended lectures and listened to the reports on the treatment and prevention of leptospirosis and brucellosis infectious diseases affecting both humans and animals. Also, the fgbi "VGNKI" was attended sessions, which addressed issues of work management of biotechnology laboratories, and conducted negotiations with companies – manufacturers of laboratory equipment.

In particular, met the delegation of the fgbi "VGNKI" and representatives of the company GeneReach Biotechnology Corp., dedicated to developing innovative technologies in health care, agriculture and the food industry. During the negotiations the parties discussed the possibility of holding training workshops on the database of the company GeneReach Biotechnology Corp. for researchers of the fgbi "VGNKI". GeneReach representatives told about peculiarities of work with the test systems produced by the company. Of particular interest to the fgbi "VGNKI" is a test system IQ2000™ Detection & Prevention System, which is widely used in aquaculture for the diagnosis and prevention of diseases of fish and shellfish.
