Such decision is accepted in connection with deterioration in Mexico epizootic situation concerning Newcastle disease.

Restrictions apply to the supply of live poultry and hatching eggs, poultry meat and all poultry products, not undergone heat treatment, feeds and feed additives for poultry (except feed additives of plant origin, chemical and microbiological synthesis) and used equipment for keeping, slaughter and butchering of birds.

In addition, the Rosselkhoznadzor banned the transit of live poultry from the state on the territory of the Russian Federation.
