Through this work, the trade turnover of agricultural products between the countries shows a positive trend. By 2018, it grew by 20% and amounted to 226 million dollars. The Russian side is interested in increasing exports to Mongolia grain, fish, seafood and dairy products.
The further development of bilateral relations contributes to the coordinated oversight of the veterinary services of our countries. Maxim Avidov reminded that the priority project in the field of veterinary medicine is a program to combat transboundary animal diseases.
In addition, the agenda of the joint meeting included the issues related to the supply of leather raw materials from Mongolia to Russia, creation of a livestock breeding complex and slaughterhouse on the border of our countries, the export of Russian agricultural machinery for seasonal agricultural work and the removal of restrictions on the supply of flour to Mongolia.
