In Saint-Petersburg in the framework of SPIEF-2019 at the site of the Congress and exhibition center "Expoforum" took place the meeting of the head of Rosselkhozbank Boris Listov and the Governor of the Novosibirsk region Andrei Travnikova.

The purpose of the meeting was the signing of an agreement aimed at comprehensive development of the economy of the region, including enhancing cooperation on development of priority sectors of agriculture and food industry. During the meeting the sides noted the significant growth of production volumes in agriculture, the increase in acreage and yield.

Support agribusiness development and strengthening of export potential is one of the priority tasks of the Bank in the region. Today, the Novosibirsk region exports grain in China, Mongolia, Egypt, Turkey, Belarus, Latvia, Denmark and other countries. In plans — to increase the pace and volume of production in the agricultural sector, including to increase the export of grain.

In the Novosibirsk region Russian agricultural Bank finances the construction of one of the largest in Russia dairy plants with capacity 1150 tons of milk per day. To Finance the project, which implements the largest producer of milk in Europe of companies, EkoNiva, the Bank will direct 18.9 billion rubles. In addition, Rosselkhozbank is a partner of OOO "Novosibirsk food Corporation" in the framework of support of foreign trade transactions for the supply of cereals from Siberia to China.
