At the end of 2018 at JSC "Akron" was commissioned the sixth unit of urea with capacity of 600 tons per day. In 2019 the results of its stable operation, the company started to create on its base large-capacity urea unit with a capacity of up to 735 thousand tons per year. Thus, the production capacity of unit No. 6 will increase by more than 500 thousand tons per year.

In parallel, JSC "Akron" is the construction of a granulation of urea with a capacity of 700 thousand/tonnes per year. Investment in project will amount to approximately 35 million U.S. dollars. The completion of the development projects the plant will allow to increase total production capacity of urea in Veliky Novgorod up to more than 1.9 million tonnes a year. It will make Acron one of the largest platforms for the production of urea not only in Russia but also in Europe.
