Another 6 billion rubles will be allocated for activities on analytical support and export promotion of the agricultural products. As reported TASS, this is stated in the minutes of the meeting of the project Committee national project "international cooperation and export" from June 17.

"Export of agricultural products" is one of the Federal projects in the national project "international cooperation and exports". According to government plans, supply of agricultural products abroad is expected to grow to $45 billion in 2024 from $21.6 billion in 2017. For this to be a new bulk commodities and export-oriented commodity distribution infrastructure, as well as removal of trade barriers (tariff and non-tariff).

As for trade barriers, in the framework of the Federal project it is planned to make amendments to the legislation regarding the registration and marking of animals (this is to ensure veterinary safety), develop programs for control of several diseases of animals and birds, to obtain the status of the OIE as a country free from several diseases of livestock and to achieve approvals and permits, which would allow to export meat, pork, beef, dairy products and other commodities in countries such as China, Korea, Japan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and others.

According to the original version of the passport of the Federal project, the government planned to spend on the removal of trade barriers 17,66 billion (2018 to 2024).

"To approve the redistribution of budget allocations in the framework of the Federal project "the Export of agricultural products" in the amount of 2.7 billion rubles on the activities of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the framework of section 3 "trade barriers (tariff and non-tariff) to ensure access of agricultural products to target markets", - stated in the minutes of the meeting of the project Committee. These decisions are not final.

6 billion can be reallocated to activities on analytical support and export promotion of agricultural products in the framework of the creation of such a system. For the purpose initially was planned to allocate 9,751 billion for the period 2018-2024 years. The document notes that the redeployment may come at the expense of reduction of funds scheduled to be allocated for concessional lending to exporters - to this end the government of the Russian Federation until 2024 was planning to spend more than 300 billion rubles.
