Representatives of BASF spoke about the preparations for protection of plants, but outside of lectures we managed to discuss all aspects of correct application and use of good equipment.
The farm have long used the technique of "Silagra" for plant protection:
- trailed boom sprayer BISON series Master and Grand Master;
- tillage disc assemblies of ADN.
In addition to these machines, LLC "Silagra" offers growers the following technique:
- fertilizer distributor with RU and RU Profi;
- carts for transporting containers TTC-3;
- tillage cutters and cultivators series UH, UHH, SRP;
- mounted boom sprayers BISON series "the Farmer", "Smart";
- mounted disc harrow MND for small farms.
OOO "Sula Plus" showed the participants a new plant in Stolbtsy for the production of dry mashed potatoes (flakes). Processing of potatoes is carried out as follows: raw potatoes are washed, sorted, cleaned, crushed, boiled, then dried and according to specifications sent to the other company. Most of the clients factory at the moment — the foreign enterprise.
Typically, this potato powder (flakes) is used in the following areas:
- for the preparation of fast food, to fast food outlets;
- in the meat industry;
- in the production of bakery products;
- for chips, etc.
At the moment the plant processes 150 tons of potatoes a day, by the end of 2020 it is planned to process up to 300 tons per day.
