Already sown 575 hectares of wheat, 118 ha of triticale (hybrid of wheat and rye) and 1419 hectares of canola. Under next year's crop plowed 2534 hectares of plowed fields.

"Using favorable weather conditions, agriculture in the region are actively engaged in seasonal work as complete forage, the harvesting season of the crop and have already begun sowing of winter crops", – said the Deputy Chairman of the government of the Leningrad region for agriculture and fishery complex Oleg Malashenko.

To ensure wintering of farm animals in the region harvested 1 046,8 thousand tons of silage (85% of the plan), 121,8 thousand tons of haylage (94%), 68.7 thousand tons of hay (95%), and 26 thousand tons of CCM (77%) collected 43,8 thousand tons of fodder grain (67% of the plan).
