According to the operative data of the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan, on September 1 in the Republic of grain and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 1 million 017,0 thousand hectares (72% of the forecast), and produced 3 million 077,1 thousand tons of grain. Including spring wheat – 449 thousand tons, winter wheat – 771,6 thousand tons, barley – 1 mln 348,6 thousand tons.

In the Republic the average yield of grain and leguminous crops is now at 30.3 C/ha, higher than in the same period last year by 4.2 t/ha.

In four of the 16 municipal districts where there are plantations of sugar beet, is the harvesting of root crops. This Zainsk, Nurlat, Sarmanovo and tukayevsky areas.

On September 1, sugar beets are dug from 2.1 thousand ha (3.2% of the forecast), harvested with 86.2 thousand tonnes. The yield of this crop is 415 kg/ha against 402,5 kg/ha on the same date last year.

In Arsky and Cheremshansky municipal districts started harvesting rapeseed. In the first of this oilseed crop was threshed with 210 hectares harvested 250 tons of rapeseed, the yield of 11.9 t/ha, the other of 400 hectares harvested 520 tons with an average yield of 13.0 q/ha.

As previously reported IA "Tatar-inform", in the Republic in parallel with the harvest is sowing of winter crops.

According to the Ministry, today autumn sowing is carried out on 312,1 thousand hectares, or 57.7% of the area allocated for winter crops. At the same time winter wheat planted 208 thousand ha, winter rye – 100.7 thousand hectares.
