On 6 September in the area of winter crops were sown 598,3 thousand hectares, accounting for 74 percent of the planned (811 ha). Close to finishing farms Buzuluk – 39.4 thousand hectares (88 %), Novosergievskiy – 38.4 thousand hectares (85 %), North – 11,3 thousand hectares (82 %), Sorochinskaya city district – 29.7 thousand hectares (86 %),

On crop work involved 2 116 units.

Winter crops are insured crop for the area and, in the case of emergencies, always give a guaranteed harvest. So, to date winter crops have almost been thrashed – 545,8 thousand hectares – 93 % of the sloping. The croppage 585,2 thousand tonnes or 34% of the total gross collection (1 564,6 thousand tonnes) at an average yield of 10.7 t/ha.

Until the end of September in the Orenburg region it is planned to complete the sowing of winter grain crops.
